About
Clean Lungs For The Youth
Clean Lungs for the Youth is a 501(c)(3) certified nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing the vaping epidemic through early education.
Our organization is led by young individuals who understand the pressures and challenges surrounding decision-making and are committed to empowering others to make informed, health-conscious choices.
We believe that education about smoking and vaping is most effective when introduced at a young age and delivered by those who can genuinely relate to and empathize with youth experiences. By leveraging our voice, knowledge, and, most importantly, our passion, we strive to protect and improve the health of future generations.

Our Approach

Collection Stanford Research Into the
Impact of Tobacco Advertising
E-cigarettes are often portrayed as a “healthier alternative” to traditional cigarettes. This framing is misleading. Many adolescents who use e-cigarettes have never smoked combustible tobacco, meaning vaping does not represent a safer choice: it represents the initiation of a harmful behavior.

E-cigarettes can contain nearly 2,000 chemicals, many of which are not fully understood. For the millions of high school and college students who vape but would never consider smoking, e-cigarette use is not a matter of harm reduction, but rather the introduction of significant health risks.

Big Tobacco directly targets children. Hundreds of fruity and candy flavors; eye-catching designs; high-tech appeals.

It took decades for Big Tobacco to even admit to the dangers of smoking cigarettes. Smoking companies have a long history of duplicitous behavior. Camel was still making ads captioned 'More Doctors Smoke Camels' in 1952, after studies had started to show correlations between smoking and cancer. They dismissed the dangers of second-hand smoke, and even tried to convince the public that nicotine wasn't addictive.

Time to invest in yourself. Don't let nicotine control you.
